Getting started with RSS

This is a great tutorial on how to get started with RSS. I recently removed digg.com from my RSS subscriptions I read through Google Reader. I don't have time to plow through hundreds of items per day. Now, after scanning this RSS guide, I realize I can plug the digg RSS feed into my personalized Google homepage and see the top several items from that page right along side the other news.
